How David Moyes feels about Trai Hume with Everton 'closing in' on £20m deal.
Well this one might start to gather momentum.

Feel underwhelmed with this one unless BN, ST, or Optimum can convince me otherwise..

Well, he is a full back who isn't too keen on crossing the halfway line, apparently. So, perfect for Mr Moyes, I would think.

I think he would be a fine RB for us, TB and BR. He is not flashy, and is not going to get us excited, but the lad has great work ethic and is competent from whenever I have seen him play.

He is certainly stronger defensively, but does carry the ball well up the flank.

You only have to look at Sunderland deploying him as a winger for them at times.

Not got a bad cross on him either.

I wouldn't get excited by this one, but if he came in, I would be much happier with our RB situation for sure.

Would be surprised if they let him go for 20m though.

I was surprised at the link, but we were linked with him last summer, initially made me think it was recycled links.
He's a strong character and recognised leader on the pitch, despite only being 24. That's always a good trait for me.
I would say he's more defensive first, but he's not as one dimensional as Myko, who often offers little more going forward. But he has a good attacking aspect to his game, as BlueNose says he has been deployed as a winger, but then they are desperate for winger depth from what I understand.
Fires over a lot of crosses, but his passing accuracy is down in the mid 70% area.
He's also played left back and centre back over his career.

I think it would be a tough ask to secure him, still 4 years on his current deal, but maybe sweeten with Dibling on loan for the season, with a recall option though.
He's good, but he wouldn't be top of my list.

Another name about right now is Javi Rodriguez, really good, bit like the way Rico Lewis plays at times, inverting and great ball retention and pass completion in the 90%+.
He's another of these converted to a right back types, not quite what I feel is needed, and I feel we may have been caught up as an added name with Newcastle, Fulham and PSG.
Hopefully PSG gets him and it gives us a clear run at Doue.

My brother is a Sunderland fan and he thinks he's class.

I think he is better than given credit for too. Dependable and the right character too.
