Have spoken to an ex-youth player who is very well connected this morning.
By all accounts we are potentially in breach of the rules by 35m, which is why this Armstrong s**te is being entertained because it would represent pure profit.
He is also not in the squad today.

It wouldn't make a blind bit of difference if Armstrong went now. We have until June next year to "balance the books" if needed.
No one, and especially people chatting finance on here, what situation we are in as the accounts for the last year are out yet.
