Perhaps now given what is going on with City we will win our appeal against paying Burnley anything. Just so it doesn't open a can of worms for City and the Premiership.

i don't think the Prem mind opening a can of worms if the only people they fall on are us. Would surprise me if it makes no difference and they got off lighter than we did.

The tricky question comes if there is a large points deduction ( which we all doubt) how many clubs might make claims they were relegated or kept out of Europe due to this. If Burnley win, the ramifications for city are astronomical.

Agree EFCONE, the Burnley case is going to be fascinating now. If that stands then it opens the door for teams to claim loss of prize money given where they finished in the league. Loss of earnings for missing out on a place in Europe. It could take years to sort out.
Lawyers all over the country will be rubbing their grubby little hands.
