In the last hour, according to Fabrizio Romano, Ali is undergoing his medical in Turkey. He also adds that they have an option to buy for around 8m. Looks like we have saved a few more quid on the wage bill if he passes his medical.
Now the club really need to get reinforcements in before the deadline.

I’d imagine we’re paying a large chunk of his wages whilst on loan - think I read they’re paying him £36k per week which would suggest we’re picking up the rest.

I agree Ginger and let’s make no bones about it… this by all accounts was a FL signing. As with all our managers credit where it’s due and calling it out where it’s not. No manager gets them all right by any means I just hope we get the next x2 right.

Any manager would have ripped Levy's arm off for a chance to reignite Dele's career for no initial outlay. Frank backed himself, which is what you want in a manager. It's a sad story - the lad clearly has talent.

Still saving cash even if we are supplementing his wages in Turkey. Sad really, it was worth a gamble for the price it cost but hasn't worked out. Hopefully he can reignite his career in another country as there is a very good player in there, shame it hasn't worked out. Wish him the best of luck.

Sorry GB but I genuinely cannot agree with you when you say excellent work Everton.

We’ve loaned out 2 players who I imagine we are still paying a large chunk of their wages.

2 terrible transfers by the club and the club don’t deserve any credit for loaning them out.

I like your positivism Guernsey and I know for a while you have wanted rid of a fair few of the ‘dead wood’ he only negative I see in this is the 5 sub rule as I have a feeling without a ‘fee’ signings now we will be very very short on numbers never mind quality.

Skylark - I’m sure we’ve agreed before, however it’s also good to have differing opinions which makes this site so good.

Bunks - much rather we didn’t buy them in the first place. However if loaning them out helps then I’m all for it, however I’m not in agreement in saying it’s excellent work by the club.

Deli deal! are you kidding! Tarks free (out of contract) , Coady loan, no brainer. McNeil £20 mill, never get that back. Richarlison sold (no replacement waiting) plus two potential backups loaned out. BK is Chairman and hailed by Moshri as the transfer guru. I and others have been told consistently that BK has no influence, is Moshri lying?
