I never wanted Sean Dyche from day one I think the guy is the worst manager in the world most Everton supporters thought he was the man but I think everyone knows now he isn't. My cat knows more about Football than him and he has Jacky Charlton tactics. unfortunately we can't sack him now because if we do we will definitely go down the reason I say this is you get Potter in and he tries to play football we will concede goal after goal as our players need trained on playing possession football and that takes time and we don't have time. We just need to hope and pray that we can pick enough points up to survive playing hoof ball. If we can pick enough points up and survive then we can move forward into our new stadium with a new manager and tell Sean to F off. We must survive that's the most important thing and changing manager as much as we would like to could be the final nail in the coffin.

over reactionary to say the least
not doing the job this season, so is time to part ways more than likely, but to write off his work from last season and season before given the circumstances is ridiculous
the 2 managers before him were worse, so it ruins you're argument straight from the off.
2.) 04 Dec 2024 09:40:47
Mate have you enjoyed the last 3 seasons because I haven’t it’s been horrendous. We play the worst football in the world and you might be able to pick enough points up to stay up by playing hoof ball but that’s not football it’s bloody embarrassing. Write off his work you say what work? We are terrible there is no work we boot the ball whatever way we are facing and hope for the best. Yes we stayed up but let’s face it we are bad and our football is bad and we have been lucky because there is some rubbish teams now in the premiership that’s it’s near impossible to go down. There is always 3 teams that are completely useless at the bottom which have helped keep us up. Years ago you needed 40pts to stay up now it’s just over 30 some years. If we still needed 40pts we would be bang in trouble. Hopefully.
3.) 04 Dec 2024 10:10:07
Hey Dino is your cat available mate? ?.
4.) 04 Dec 2024 10:55:49
Dino you lost me when you say he's the worst manager in the world, then go on to say we can't sack him cause we'll go down.
My take is I've never liked the football we play under dyche and if the right manager is available then bring him in. Shake dyches hand and thank him for keeping us up last year and draw a line under this shambles.
Its asking hell of a lot to bring new staff in, move into a new stadium and recruit the players we need if we wait til the end of the season.
5.) 04 Dec 2024 11:11:11
Pretty pragmatic post that Dino and I can see your point about getting rid may be a mistake at this time. It will be interesting to see what the Friedkin's do when the take over is complete. It will be in their gift to keep or bin Dyche and we will just have to live with the decision they make.
6.) 04 Dec 2024 11:22:22
He did no fing work the last two seasons it was bery good luck and the geeling of injustice thst carried the supporters and players. Dyches tactics didn't/ haven't changed. Hard work/ yards carries you only so far. It is fine at lower levels (I was rubbish but managed to get into sides) but obviously at this you need far more. The bloke comes across as shovel thick. He has lost the players and has to go.
7.) 04 Dec 2024 11:55:16
Sorry to tell you Amomblue2 but he is the worst manager in the world. Plays the worst football the most boring football in the world and it’s not entertaining it’s garbage. Do you think we play football because I’ll let you in on another secret we don’t. He doesn’t know what football is. It’s the most boring time to support football it’s pure crap.100 percentage crap. I can’t even watch the matches now it’s that boring.
8.) 04 Dec 2024 12:17:16
I think the point that some are trying to make, and that's accurate, is that the worst manager in he World would not have kept us up last season.
9.) 04 Dec 2024 12:35:28
Think it's evident to all us blues that Dyches time is coming to a end Dino, the results performances and whole general feel in and around the club is low, a new start and manager will be very welcome and hopefully lift the vibe on and off the pitch and get some positivity in and around the place which with abit of luck will transcend onto the pitch and these chances we ain't taking change. All about confidence and as a club we have very little.
Dyche was the right guy at a the time, as don't forget we wasn't exactly able to attract or afford much more, he isn't the right person now and not helped by his smugness and arrogance in interviews, he can't keep living off saying us.
Agree bringing someone new in is a risk as this squad seems lack leaders, creativity and pace but hopefully a new regime gives us that lift in short term to survive as I ain't as confident as previously that if Dyche stays we stay up.
10.) 04 Dec 2024 13:04:58
So why not sack him? If he's the worst in the world anyone can do a better job.
11.) 04 Dec 2024 13:21:32
I would have sacked him at the end of last season which would have gave the new manager time to work on things. Our training for the last few years has been amateur at best. We work on corners, free kicks and defending. What I am saying is if you change manager now a new manager will want to play football and this lot can’t play football it takes time. We will give away goal after goal and definitely go down. I think the best thing to do is hope and pray that this garbage football is enough to scrape enough points to stay up. It’s the worst football in the world but it might get us the 35pts we need. Am I confident no but as you said it’s been enough the last 3 season it’s our best shot at this point.
12.) 04 Dec 2024 15:13:46
Dino I agree with pretty much everything you say. I was in the camp of keeping dyche til the end of the season as I honestly didn't think we'd get relegated under him. Now I think we have no choice other than change him. He's obviously not going to be here next season.
Start of next season we will (hopefully) have new owners, new board, new stadium, new coaching staff and new players. that's too much change to be implemented successfully in the off season. Sooner we get new owners and change dyche the better.
13.) 04 Dec 2024 15:56:53
These are professional footballers, and at sometime in their career they would have played passing football. It would not take a good manager that long to turn it around. The problem is we never employ a good manager.
23 Nov 2024 19:17:02
Imagine being McNeil he must feel like that baby Reindeer show. His whole career he has been stalked by this creep Dyche.
That's like a horror movie lad makes it as a professional and has been stalked by the Grim Reaper of football.
1.) 23 Nov 2024 21:23:58
Great post dino mate made me chuckle that did.
2.) 24 Nov 2024 10:01:09
Yet in all that time he’s never taught him to kick the ball with his right foot.
28 Oct 2024 09:34:46
Thing I can't understand is why we signed DYche in the first place.99% of fans on here wanted him and when yous were told he is a hoof ball possession killer who can't get a job in the championship yous all said so what you don't like all that passing nonsense and he is the only person for the job. Now yous can see what he is a Sunday pub manager who wouldn't get a job in kids football because football isn't played like that anymore. Even kids are taught to play football on the deck, he is playing Rugby tactics just boot it and run after it. Maybe we should have seen this coming before we sighed the bum. no point crying now when we were all told what he is like. Ten HAG we will never learn who will you say next Southgate ???.
1.) 28 Oct 2024 10:33:23
Not as straightforward as that Dino.
Most of the fans accepted that it was a necessary evil in the circumstances. Point deductions and lack of funds meant that we needed someone who could work with those constraints.
I don't think that means he was everyone's first choice, all things being equal. Once the books are balanced, we will need a rethink. As much as I loathe the football, it was some achievement to keep us in the league last season.
2.) 28 Oct 2024 10:36:14
Dino.
Dyche was the ideal candidate for that time. We didn't have a pot to piss in nor was they much interest in us with shambles going on.
Dyche isn't the right person to move the club forward now no.
3.) 28 Oct 2024 10:56:29
Fireman Sean was I think ideal at the time, however the welcome mat is now threadbare and it shows to the point of embarrassment.
Me being one of the ''Yous'' I suppose, think not being able to get a job in the ''Championship''
is contentious, to say the least . . . as Everton FC was and still is in a predicament, and I while not being as full of foresight as the OP would still not bet on that .
4.) 28 Oct 2024 16:47:56
99% apparently ok.
5.) 28 Oct 2024 22:11:14
I didn't realise I was the only one who didn't want him.
6.) 29 Oct 2024 20:34:33
He was the only person free who would take the job without it being a massive risk. We tried Lampard, we tried Banitez… neither worked. We needed stability and Dyche gave us that whilst we were in a total mess. Now we are a mess but not as bad as we were (Unless the Eds know something we don’t) so Dyche has done his job. Thank you Sean. Now it’s time to move on. Get the stadium finished, get someone who can set the team playing. Finish in middle of the table and build from there.
{Ed025's Note - i think thats just about spot on BR..

Don’t worry Moyles has a master plan to fix everything starting at training tomorrow. More Bleep tests.
17 Jan 2025 09:36:38
Ernest saves Everton.
I used to love them Ernest Movies when I was a kid.
17 Jan 2025 09:21:06
You guys are spot on. kids nowdays can’t even do keepy-ups, they don’t play headers and volleys and in school they walk around all day looking in their phone camera fixing their hair. No wonder football is in the state it’s in. I was talking to a school caretaker and he said the boys in the school are like girls nowadays. There hasn’t been one fight in his school in 5 years it was every 5mins when I was at school. Not that fighting is good but boys will be boys was the old saying.
17 Jan 2025 08:28:08
Unfortunately in January it’s dead wood that’s up for grabs so don’t expect too much quality to come in. The standard of players now is way off what it used to be. Finding a decent player gets harder every transfer window. Where have all the good players gone? Compare the quality of players from 15-20 years ago to now it’s night and day. Kids don’t play football in the street anymore and it’s really affecting the game. The quality of football now is really bad. It’s the worst premier league ever. Anyone else have any ideas why it’s soo bad?
{Ed025's Note - i think your right what you are saying Dino, kids dont want to play football these days and would sooner be on their computer games mate, plus they dont want to get their £180 trainers dirty kicking a ball.. :)
15 Jan 2025 21:46:46
Cant really blame the ref. Villa should have scored at least 3 tonight it was comfortable for them. Everton were very flat usually a team gets a new manger bounce but I didn’t see that today. It was the same formation as Dyche sitting back with nothing going forward. Needed to go out and attack from the first whistle try and lift the players and the crowd try score the first goal show some balls. Your playing at home you have the crowd advantage why are you sitting back go and win the game. Why does young get on every game first thing you would do as manger is get rid of the aul lads young is too old. DCL couldn’t hit a barn door and Beto god help him is like a headless chicken. We may hope and pray we can sign some players quickly because that’s bad scary bad.
14 Jan 2025 12:45:08
Have Forest not signed 22 players in the 24/ 25 season and sold or released 27 players they spent a total of 15 million once you add up what they spent and what they brought in. So they haven’t spent much on their journey up the league have they.
