If you understand the purpose of the protest you might realise that it's not about withdrawing support for the team. It's about making them owner of the club aware that the fans are important and that people who he has trusted to run the club are not doing it to the level required. You appear to have missed the fundamental principles of the protest.

There current players and even our better ones have to share some responsibility for this mess. If we can trade players for profit then we will be in a better place than we are now. Other clubs seem to be able to work this business model but they go out and seek the best people. We just have an old boys club. We wouldn't know what the best lined like if it came and slapped us in the face.

I have no issue with players getting sold; even those who are considered to be among the top performers. The proviso is that we get maximum value for them and we have a replacement lined up which is not going to impact the performances.
Football is a business and clubs need to get in to the habit of recycling players and replacing them. There are clubs in Europe where this is the norm, yet they are able to maintain a performance level. I thought one of Brands functions would be this type of buying and selling players to make a profit from player trading.

The current accounts include a lot of money which has been spent on getting the stadium development to its current stage. I believe that once planning is approved the value of this expenditure will come off the loss figures. There is breathing space for the club but realistically the club will need to start returning to a profit or breaking even for the next two years because the losses are calculated on a rolling three year cycle, so this £100M loss is going to affect us for the next two years.
In Brands we have a DoF who understands the link between player trading and the business side of the club. We aren’t in that much trouble because there are significant valuable assets in the playing squad.

Better that he gets games under his belt in a league like the Championship that benched for our first team.

Delph looks a better option in midfield, as he has more dynamism than Schneiderlin and is a better passer of the ball than Davies. Looked solid all over the pitch yesterday.

24 out of 64 I would see as being good purchases. There was a lot (and I mean a lot) of dross bought under Moyes. Whether that was him or not, who can say but one only has to mention Per Koldrup, Niclas Alexandersson, Idan to name but a few to realise how bad it was.

FM hasn't put his own money to specifically buy players. EFC was saddled with long term debt and various charges against the stadium, income from TV money etc that was limiting ability to grow. FM's money has injected capital to remove all this debt and provide the club with working capital. It is the club that buys and pays for players out of its own resources in the main. The money spent on the squad would not have been possible without all the money put in by FM to clear the debt. It's not in the accounts as a loan either, so there is no expectation that the money put in, need ever be repaid. People who question FM's commitment need to pull their heads out the sand. Te guy stepped up to the plate and put his own finance in to the club without further need for borrowing or more debt.

Rooney at 10 and Tosun as main striker with Walcott and Bolasie either side. Midfield options are thin but looks like it might have to be Davies and Schneiderlin.

The two players who I definitely would take are Ward-Prowse and Bertrand from Southampton.
