Unted fan in peace. I've seen many of the posts on the United site and this one and I am a little embarrassed at how my club is behaving. Our whole transfer strategy this summer has appeared confused and given that Moyes will have had a value in mind for both Fellaini and Baines when we was Everton Manager, to come in with a low bid does not do him nor United any favours. I would love both players at OT and I think they are jus what is missing right now - but why we can't make a sensible offers beyond me. I believe £35M for both would be an offer worth discussing. For one of the richest cobs in the world to arse about like this is, well embarrassing. PS - how about we have Fellaini and Baines and you take Rooney back? :-) {Ed025's Note - you sound like a proper fan AJH, but for me £35m is still on the low side mate, especially with the limited time left to get replacements! but we will take rooney, kagawa, and van persie as a straight swap.. :)

1.) 40 or 45 million

Top fan AJH, there are some proper nuggets on your pages mate (Shappy) etc.

I think you guys are struggling for cash to spend too or you are maybe saving the big chunk for a certain Portugese winger.

I personally think 40 million at a minimum would probably do it, looks to me like they may be coming your way soon mate as we may as well face it that we are a selling club, that's what happens when only one of your board members is a blue nose and its the only one with no money lol

Degsy

3.) Degsy, Shappy is a top lad, I just think people have quite clear views on what layers are worth. Remember Chelsea bid £25M for Rooney who cost us more than that when we bought him. I just wish we would stop behaving like some hard up club looking for bargains. You don't see Barca, Chelsea, Madrid arseing around like this. DM must know how much is required, he has a good relationship with BK, why this is in the press and why the bid is low (IMO) is beyond me

As a United fan you can tell me to sod off and mind my own business but I th no I can be impartial.

You are a great club with a strong history and tradition and I hope you return to winning ways soon but Allardyce, really? I've also hear callers to radio stations suggesting Tuchel. Ok, Allardyce is an interminable bore Who would drive you crackers. I have no idea why he is held in such hg h esteem but he is a Manager who excels in avoiding relegation, is this your target now? As for Tuchel, he's a sexy foreign name but you have just had one of them and it didn't work out too well did it?

I really don't understand why you haven't taken a sack of money to Burnley and signed Dyche. He knows the League, the job he has done at Burnley is incredible, and he is very clear on culture which I believe that is important to Everton. Like it or not you are no longer a top 6 side right now but if you secure the rIght Manage then I am sure you can be, but that is not Allardyce.

AJH

{Ed025's Note - i cant argue with much of that AJH..

1.) 04 Nov 2017 20:39:28
Agree with Dyche, but most people (understandably) , thought the same about Koeman, just before he signed from Southampton.

2.) 04 Nov 2017 22:31:47
As a Liverpool fan I agree with all of your post mate.

3.) 05 Nov 2017 10:27:30
Well if this season could get any weirder it just did. I have just read 3 posts on the Everton page from a Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool fan, and I agree with them all. To all three of you, I would like Dyche too.

4-0 is a little misleading, up to 80 minutes it was squeaky bum time for us, we have a habit of scoring late goals but it was touch and go until the last 10 minutes. You've had a dreadful start but I'm sure you will pick up.

AJH

{Ed025's Note - we will have to AJH, 4-0 was flattering for sure but its still 4-0 how ever way you paint it mate..

1.) 17 Sep 2017 18:20:08
I know Ed, I worry that it is also misleading for us. We have firepower but in several games we have been lax until the last 10 minutes, we will get punished if we keep doing this.

How is Rooney getting on? I know it's early but he's scored a couple and I wondered how he was doing overall. I was one who was happy to see him go as I felt he had lost his mojo (as well as his touch) but he seems to be doing pretty well so far for you. Is this accurate or romantic press reporting?

AJH

1.) 23 Aug 2017 11:18:32
It's early to say. But if he had lost his mojo it looks like he found pretty sharpish. Regarding his touch, was that ever in question? I thought it was his age and whether he still has the legs that was the biggest concern, not his touch. You never lose what was never coached.

Anyway, so far he has looked very good for us. Yet it's early days.

2.) 23 Aug 2017 12:34:31
I would agree he certainly found his mojo quickly, just shows the difference in performance when you are somewhere you want to be, which is meant with no disrespect to United.
I do feel his match fitness and sharpness will also improve further over the upcoming games and also the team will gel further!

3.) 23 Aug 2017 13:39:27
He can also focus more on Everton now he has no distraction from England duties.

4.) 23 Aug 2017 13:54:14
Amazing scenes! Really wasn't expecting to see that! 😳

Congrats on an amazing England career Wayne! 👏🏻.

I realise it's none of my business but I'd like to see Dyche get it. What he has done at Burnley is incredible and being English he will understand the history and tradition of Everton and the role the Manager needs to play. Silva has been here two minutes and Tuchel doesn't speak English. I'm also fed up with the endless stream of foreign managers and yes, I realise the irony of a United fan saying that.

AJH

{Ed025's Note - cheers AJH..

I love Danny but he never performed consistently for United and has spent most of most time at Arsenal injured. He's not that young any more so not sure how much better he can get,

You guys have bought very well, adding a very good striker would make you real contenders: I'm not sure that's Welbeck.

I think you've bought well, 6th doesn't sound ambitious enough to me. Arsenal and Liverpool look vulnerable to me.

Good post Young Guns although I disagree wth your view of Rooney. He may have matured but he often turned up for pre season overweight and the general view was he didn't put in the hours that some of the more committed players did.

We have debated him at length on the United page, he has broken records, will go down as legend but generally most feel he never delivered to hs potential. Harsh possibibly but a widely held view. I hope the move back to Everton gives him a new lease of life.

As for Ross, he's clearly a talented boy, perhaps he needs a fresh challenge (assuming he has the right attitude) .
