I never wanted Sean Dyche from day one I think the guy is the worst manager in the world most Everton supporters thought he was the man but I think everyone knows now he isn't. My cat knows more about Football than him and he has Jacky Charlton tactics. unfortunately we can't sack him now because if we do we will definitely go down the reason I say this is you get Potter in and he tries to play football we will concede goal after goal as our players need trained on playing possession football and that takes time and we don't have time. We just need to hope and pray that we can pick enough points up to survive playing hoof ball. If we can pick enough points up and survive then we can move forward into our new stadium with a new manager and tell Sean to F off. We must survive that's the most important thing and changing manager as much as we would like to could be the final nail in the coffin.

over reactionary to say the least
not doing the job this season, so is time to part ways more than likely, but to write off his work from last season and season before given the circumstances is ridiculous
the 2 managers before him were worse, so it ruins you're argument straight from the off.

Mate have you enjoyed the last 3 seasons because I haven’t it’s been horrendous. We play the worst football in the world and you might be able to pick enough points up to stay up by playing hoof ball but that’s not football it’s bloody embarrassing. Write off his work you say what work? We are terrible there is no work we boot the ball whatever way we are facing and hope for the best. Yes we stayed up but let’s face it we are bad and our football is bad and we have been lucky because there is some rubbish teams now in the premiership that’s it’s near impossible to go down. There is always 3 teams that are completely useless at the bottom which have helped keep us up. Years ago you needed 40pts to stay up now it’s just over 30 some years. If we still needed 40pts we would be bang in trouble. Hopefully.

Hey Dino is your cat available mate? ?.
04 Dec 2024 10:55:49
Dino you lost me when you say he's the worst manager in the world, then go on to say we can't sack him cause we'll go down.
My take is I've never liked the football we play under dyche and if the right manager is available then bring him in. Shake dyches hand and thank him for keeping us up last year and draw a line under this shambles.
Its asking hell of a lot to bring new staff in, move into a new stadium and recruit the players we need if we wait til the end of the season.

Pretty pragmatic post that Dino and I can see your point about getting rid may be a mistake at this time. It will be interesting to see what the Friedkin's do when the take over is complete. It will be in their gift to keep or bin Dyche and we will just have to live with the decision they make.

He did no fing work the last two seasons it was bery good luck and the geeling of injustice thst carried the supporters and players. Dyches tactics didn't/ haven't changed. Hard work/ yards carries you only so far. It is fine at lower levels (I was rubbish but managed to get into sides) but obviously at this you need far more. The bloke comes across as shovel thick. He has lost the players and has to go.

Sorry to tell you Amomblue2 but he is the worst manager in the world. Plays the worst football the most boring football in the world and it’s not entertaining it’s garbage. Do you think we play football because I’ll let you in on another secret we don’t. He doesn’t know what football is. It’s the most boring time to support football it’s pure crap.100 percentage crap. I can’t even watch the matches now it’s that boring.

I think the point that some are trying to make, and that's accurate, is that the worst manager in he World would not have kept us up last season.

Think it's evident to all us blues that Dyches time is coming to a end Dino, the results performances and whole general feel in and around the club is low, a new start and manager will be very welcome and hopefully lift the vibe on and off the pitch and get some positivity in and around the place which with abit of luck will transcend onto the pitch and these chances we ain't taking change. All about confidence and as a club we have very little.
Dyche was the right guy at a the time, as don't forget we wasn't exactly able to attract or afford much more, he isn't the right person now and not helped by his smugness and arrogance in interviews, he can't keep living off saying us.
Agree bringing someone new in is a risk as this squad seems lack leaders, creativity and pace but hopefully a new regime gives us that lift in short term to survive as I ain't as confident as previously that if Dyche stays we stay up.

So why not sack him? If he's the worst in the world anyone can do a better job.
04 Dec 2024 13:21:32
I would have sacked him at the end of last season which would have gave the new manager time to work on things. Our training for the last few years has been amateur at best. We work on corners, free kicks and defending. What I am saying is if you change manager now a new manager will want to play football and this lot can’t play football it takes time. We will give away goal after goal and definitely go down. I think the best thing to do is hope and pray that this garbage football is enough to scrape enough points to stay up. It’s the worst football in the world but it might get us the 35pts we need. Am I confident no but as you said it’s been enough the last 3 season it’s our best shot at this point.

Dino I agree with pretty much everything you say. I was in the camp of keeping dyche til the end of the season as I honestly didn't think we'd get relegated under him. Now I think we have no choice other than change him. He's obviously not going to be here next season.
Start of next season we will (hopefully) have new owners, new board, new stadium, new coaching staff and new players. that's too much change to be implemented successfully in the off season. Sooner we get new owners and change dyche the better.

These are professional footballers, and at sometime in their career they would have played passing football. It would not take a good manager that long to turn it around. The problem is we never employ a good manager.
