Yes we need to improve the squad, but another key area for improvement is the loans we make next season.
I think it's fair to say the three we brought in last season were pretty disappointing, and offered little to strengthening the team.

I thought Mangala was good until he got injured Woburn. Harrison and Lindstrom are not up to standard. Broja showed glimpses but seems to be made of biscuits. I can see why all were signed, but hope for better next year.

I would have liked to see Lindstrom played as a 10, that's where he excelled in Germany if I remember rightly.
I also thought Mangala did ok before his injury.
But overall, yep I agree, improvements could be made in our loan dealings.

Totally agree on the loans and what's been said, Mangala did well until injury, never saw best of Lindstrom too lightweight for premier league seemed.
I would definitely take Grealish but financially a problem, I would be happy with a seasons loan, suit all parties especially with a WC coming up next summer.

I think you have to accept what the loan market is, and it's mostly filled with players who aren't good enough to play for their parent club or have lost form and fallen out of favour.
Means pretty much every loan will be a bit of a punt, some you win, some you lose.

Disagree, We loaned Mangala very good player as people have said. Not all players are put out for loan because they are poor. Some just need to play.
Harrison, Lindstrom and Broja were poor loans, and I’m sure the club will be looking to improve on these three.

I would take Bissouma on loan from Spurs. Was quality at Brighton. Wouldn't take long for Moyes to get him back to the same level.

Just because players are "hungry" as you put it doesn't mean they're any good. Harrison was hungry but crap. Grealish is a few levels above this. So not sure what you mean by entitled players.
If we want to progress we can't just fill the team with young hungry players who might turn out to be ok. You have to have a bit of class in there to pull it all together.
Just look at who got our player of the season, how old was he again?
