Just heard the devastating news that Diogo Jota has sadly passed away in a car crash at just 28 years old.
Football rivalry aside, this is truly heartbreaking. Jota was a fantastic player, but more importantly, he was a young man with his whole life ahead of him. My thoughts go out to his family, friends, teammates, and everyone connected with Liverpool FC.
Moments like this remind us that football is only a game. Life is precious. Rest in peace.

Truly terrible news gents. As blueray said, he only got married 2 weeks ago and leaves behind 3 children. I believe he was in the car with his brother as well.
Thoughts and prayers for all involved and the players and staff that worked with him every day.

Gutted to hear the news re jota. Irrespective of him being an excellent footballer it's devastating that someone so young has lost his life. Thoughts are with his family.
