Mateo Pellegrino, the second coming of Big Dunc. Big brute of a bloke - 6ft 4, left-footed as well (always better) , only just turned 24. After a decent loan, and Parma selling Bonny to Inter in the summer, he has been given the nod to lead the line for them this season.

Can he score goals? We already have Barry at 6ft 5inches and Beto at 6ft 4inches. One criticism I have had about these two is that they are easily bullied by big center-backs. Barry in the past has also looked like a lost soul with no confidence.
The last two games Barry has changed that, he has been excellent, not being pushed off the ball, been more aggressive and winning headers.
Beto when he came on was easily beaten on one on one situations.
Barry has to start every game. I also want to see him shooting more, can't remember the last time he tried a shot like the DH shot against United. If he scores soon we may see a much improved and confident player. Yes we need another center-forward to replace Beto, don't care how tall he is as long as he can score goals.

We still need a new striker in Jan, would let Beto go and keep Barry he’s improving last two games just needs to find the net.

I still have fish and chips after every game of golf BMD. My mates laugh every time I order them. You can move a scouser out of Liverpool but they are still scouser's at heart. Yes Barry needs to bulk up a bit, then he could be another Lukaku.

I don’t think he has the pace to be another Lukaku.
Has a much better first touch and link up play than the Lukaku we had though.

Would love that to be the case, he definitely has the attitude and attributes to succeed here, up to him to make it all count. Because barring injury or suspension, he’ll be our first choice striker until at least January.
