If we could get one striker in that would suit us down to the ground. He could be the focal point for the trio behind, it would be Samu Aghehowa from Porto.
The only issue is that Portugal notoriously pull PL teams pants down with fees. I think Evanlison went to Bournemouth for 40m and this lad would probably cost north of 60m but he would absolutely be worth it.
The lad has shades of Lukaku about him. Just as quick, just as powerful. Perhaps has a better touch and link up play but then not quite the finisher Lukaku is. Either way, this is the type of striker that we should be looking at if we want to be taken seriously.
There are some big teams interested but they all seem to have bodies in that position already bar Utd and Spurs but why would you choose them two over us.

At 21, it would feel like another Barry-esq risk for me BN. We have bought in a few players who are young and full of potential, one is playing and not scoring, two are just not playing.
I’d like to see us try and buy someone with a bit more prem experience or is older and proven record of finding the net.
When you accept the price we would have to pay for young Samu, it rules out such a move for me. As to who we should get, I’m not sure.

Any oversees signings is a gamble. But if we were to take gamble then I'd want us to go for Dju or Emagha (think that's his name) . Need some pace and power up front but most importantly we need players with knackered of sticking the ball in the net.
Try for Dju ( who his team don't want to sell) and offer one of our strikers on rest of season loan. Maybe Barry who could benefit from game time and possibly start scoring.

Hi Bluenose many players would pick them because one is United and the other is in London. Stupid. I know but some are influenced by reputation or location.
