Out of all the recent RB rumours, I would actually take 29 year old Aina over them all. Rapid, strong, and can run all day up and down that flank. Him and Ndiaye would compliment each other tremendously.

We have two RB's with O'Brien. I get what some are saying about bolstering, thing is 'rumour' they want a fullback on terms of Patterson as a makeweight. I just do not see the logic.

Patterson has had more than ample time at the club and hasn't kicked on. Injuries have hampered him without doubt but I think it would be the right move to get him off the books while we can still get a bit of value for him.
If that's as a make weight in a deal for another player then so be it, his contract must surely be running down now? Even more of a reason to sever ties imo.

O'Brien isn't a RB Dms. He has been shoe-horned in there because we have no options. Patterson is simply terrible. He had one good game against Liverpool and it seems to have bought him a pass for years. The amount of mediocre players in this squad and he is down there at the very bottom.
