Leaks, hints, and nudge nudge rumors, are now all surjesting that we will not be strengthening the squad, and when complaints are made, it is brushed away with the notion of how graceful we should be to TFG For coming to our financial rescue.
OK, THANK YOU, but if they are content to see us chug along as I mid table also ran, they have totally failed to get it.

This is Everton, we win things, genuinely compete at the top table, anything less, thank you, now pass this ownership on to someone who gets that .

Well they won't get much return on their investment if they think like that, what makes you think this is how they will react?

22 Jan 2026 17:04:41
This is Everton, we win things, really. Since when 1995. Get a grip.

22 Jan 2026 17:09:07
We do get some drivel on here don’t we?

22 Jan 2026 17:35:35
If your satisfied with no signings in this window, then I'm afraid your in a very small minority.

22 Jan 2026 17:47:27
It’s not about being satisfied, it’s about being realistic and looking at the bigger picture. Anyone that thinks that the new owners have managed the club poorly in the last year would be in an even smaller minority.

Ten days of window remain.
No strong rumours (only usual links to every man and his dog) of any business being done, it has usually got out by now if any negotiations under way.
Looks unlikely any major signings will take place, if indeed any at all.

22 Jan 2026 18:47:02
More unlikely than likely.

22 Jan 2026 19:40:21
If Jack is out for a long period it may stir a bit of action to get another winger in, maybe on loan. Plenty of time left, you never know.

I doubt we'll splash the cash this window, no club sells its best players in January. We are safe and will finish somewhere around 10th. After the past few seasons, I'll take that.
TFG will no doubt open the cheque book in the summer in hopes of sneaking into a European place next season. We must build sensibly and not like we did under the previous regime.
For a change, us blue noses must show patience and look to the long term. We will get there in time.

Pass on the ownership? Ha ha ha They've just come in and completely stabilised a sinking ship. We don't win things, not for past 30years anyway. We've flirted with repeat relegation and financial ruin more than win anything.
Mid table is bloody good compared to recent seasons.
Better players, new stadium, better manager, better owners. But yeah get rid. Wow ok.

24 Jan 2026 11:08:24
Mid season mid table our best players to return soon, the so called lesser players did a fairly decent job even though many slate them, where stable not rushing into transfer mistakes slowly building a team, garners resigning is massive and shows intent is there to steadily improve, we where never going to be world beaters in 1 window and certainly not in the January overprice window, I understand some are frustrated but compare this season to last at this point, now think of where we could be this point next year if we carry this trajectory forward.

Exactly mate.
