I suspect JB and Ndiaye will be sold. Grealish will slot in on the left. Hopefully there will not be a Everton sales discount. We need to take ManU to the cleaners.
If we buy back Gordon (so he can sit on the bench or work the parking lot) , do we get our 15% sell on clause?

I don't think Ndiaye or JB will be sold, DM is building something special at Everton. Why on earth would he even contemplate selling his better players. We will continue to improve the squad over the next couple of windows, which is what we have been waiting for for years.

I suppose European football will be a factor. The claptrap on Transferfeed gets a bit bothersome. Keeping all would be best, but if silly money is offered..

Lots of fans have said the same about their better players. The bright lights of Champions League football are always a factor. I can see JB going. Really hope Ndayie stays.

You don't sell your best players. End of.
10 Apr 2026 16:36:26
Exactly, BMD, mate.
10 Apr 2026 17:36:43
Agreed, BMD. But depends what is offered and if the player wants the move. Every player has his price. I personally wouldn't want to keep a player who doesn't want to play for our Great Club.

It's not the end of it, though, is it? Teams do sell their best players all the time. I'm not saying we should, I'm saying it could happen.

Playing devil's advocate, how many games has JB missed this season and last. If we get better cover for right and left back, we have O'Brien who can move back into his correct position, and there are several players available at home and abroad who can replace JB.
If we are offered upwards of £60 million for him, I would take it to rebuild the team. Repeating a previous comment, if a player pushes for a move, let them go, just make sure we get top dollar for them.

Any team considering buying JB will be more cautious this season than previously, given his lack of games due to the long term injury he has had this season.

The European thing always makes me laugh. Every player signing for their clubs needs to concentrate on domestic games. When English clubs play in that Champions League, they get hammered by the better teams. Paris could and should've won that game v Liverpool 8-0, absolutely dominated them. Shows that the best players are nowhere near the English Premier League.

Ndiyae won't go, but Yam Yam's point on Braithwaite has merit.
11 Apr 2026 09:09:16
Out of our top players I think only one will leave. Branthwaite will go to Man Utd.

Do remember that the French league is much easier compared to the Prem TL. Plus, I read somewhere that the French league has bent over backwards in the past to rearrange things for PSG to give them a better chance in Europe.
