I've heard for a while that we have been sending scouts to watch 21-year-old PSV winger Esmir Bajraktarevic. I didn't think much of it until I heard yesterday that we have officially tabled an undisclosed offer for the player to get him signed before the World Cup.
So I have done a little bit of research on the player myself and he looks like he could be an exciting player.
He is a dynamic, left‑footed right‑winger who thrives in 1v1's. He would give us a ball‑carrying type player who can break pressure, commit defenders, and create high chances through his sharp close control dribbling, disguised passing, and unpredictable creative movement in the final third.
He is the type of winger who can force defensive errors simply by receiving the ball, with his acceleration, left‑footed craft, and ability to manipulate defenders in tight spaces.
He sort of reminds me of a mix of Olise and Doku, the way in which Olise creates danger between the lines and the 1v1 threat of Doku. He is just more direct and vertical but has the ability to carry the ball 30 yards forward while under pressure.

Not sure what the offer is we've tabled. He's valued at £5m but PSV apparently want much more than that.

Well, at least Moyes will keep him in good company on the bench with Aznou, Armstrong and Dibling.
