Morning my fellow Evertonians. As concerns our pressing need for a striker, I was not overly enthusiastic about the big Ukrainian lad Artem Dovbyk, but having watched him play in matches and also his assists and goals from open play I am not as pessimistic as I once was. He has a decent turn of pace for a big fella and can turn in quite tight spaces and always seems to head in the direction of goal and appears to be a team play hofs up the ball very well, is decent in the air and is definitely physical enough for the Premier League and is tenacious in front of goal, so if we are looking for his signature he could be a good fit.
What do my fellow Evertonians think ?.
{Ed025's Note - i have not seen him to be honest TB, but i will certainly look out for him now mate..

I think, if we persist with this punting it up to a loan striker, then it doesn't matter who we get.
{Ed025's Note - thats a fair comment BMD..

When I played youth football, my manager and coach would both go scatty if anyone played ball over head height unless it was a cross into the box. But also the main formation was 442. So at least there was 2 strikers to aim for. Yet Moyes has everyone hoofing it up to a striker who can't win headers, leaving our wingers and attacking midfielders to chase for the ball.
Just pass it around the ground, for heaven's sake. And if we don't have the players who can do that, then sign some that can. I've never worked at NASA, but it's not rocket science.

Doesn't help when our wingers pass it back to O'Brien or Mykolenko, and neither know what to do from there. 1 O'Brien is a CB, so wouldn't really expect him to bomb forward or be very attack minded. 2 Mykolenko is Championship at best.
Can someone tell me how many assists he has for us, please, and it goes back to Tarks or Keane then Pickford because the other team are pressing, and Pickford just hoofs it up field and gives it them back.

Agree, RonMac. How many times have we taken a short free kick around the opponent's box, and it ends up back to Pickford before it even enters the opposition box.
