Does anyone think that if we can get some sort of deal tied up quickly with Grealish, it would help serve to attract chances of better players wanting to sign for the club.

Certainly couldn't hurt.

Hope we get him, he's made for our Club.

Made for our club?? You mean overpriced, injury prone and 30?? Only messing. I like Grealish, he could've been the difference in a few of the final games because he would've kept possession or won a free kick instead of us just giving the opposition the ball back.
I think, from his comments, he wants to stay. It just depends what City's new manager wants, I guess, but big thumbs-up from me. ???

Nice one, mate, you had me there at the beginning, buddy.

Trying to stay positive. Gonna be a long few months getting linked with alsorts. Not that we sign players early anyway, and find it strange Moyes will be in America. I thought managers were at the clubs to talk to the new players coming in, but probably do that on FaceTime now.
Let's hope he can spot a few bargains while he is over there and chat to them after the games.

I just think we have got to avoid last minute panic transfers. Most supporters seem fairly unanimous over the areas in which signings are needed. So, I would like to assume our "recruitment specialists" and manager think the same and have done plenty of scouting/research to hit the ground running once the window opens.
We don't want another last minute expensive signing like last season with Dibling situation (I have nothing against him personally, as, like everyone else, I have not seen anything of him play at the club to form an opinion) .

That's what annoys me. Managers bring in players to suit how you play Grealish, and the odd time Dibling did play had 2 men on them straight away because our fullbacks didn't overlap, neither are blessed with pace, but can pick out runs and need that extra space to do what they do. Ndiaye is different coz I think he would try and take on everyone on pitch with his silky footwork and tries to do it on his own coz he has no support up there with him, and I personally think he will be gone this window.
Been offered better terms apparently, but wants a £40 million pound release clause which just happens to be what Utd offered for him in Jan and we want it at £70 to £80 million I believe.

For me Ron, two "proper" full backs are needed as priority for the very reason you have outlined.
To play a central defender at RB for virtually a whole season is ridiculous. Not the fault of the player. He must be totally demoralised about it, particularly when he was needed in central defence in any case.
