Why not, he's a free agent and so can play for whoever he wants. Good luck to the lad if that's what he wants to do.

If he wants to play on, then fair play.
As they say, you're a long time retired in this game. Will he play? Well, if someone is prepared to take a chance and give him a contract, then fair play.
I'd personally like to see him accept the coaching role he was apparently offered a few months back. But, we won't be losing him to anyone else for long, and he will come home soon enough.
