Know I have said it before, but it is worth repeating. I am very grateful that TFG, saved us from administration, and all it's possible consequences.
However, if they are unable, or unwilling to take the next step, to pump prime the club to compete at the top level, and to effectively settle for mid table safety, then I do hope they cash in on the profit that they will have made, and sell on to an owner with the ambition to return the club to the top level.
{Ed025's Note - if it is to happen AB lets hope it happens soon, how did we go from a sleeping giant to sleeping mediocrity?, it does seem that the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off again mate but it wont stop us all from supporting the team and hoping that David will slay Goliath once again..

I think the investment last summer was strong. This summer's far from over. Moves are being made to improve the academy too. Light's still on for me lads.

Goliath was a big, slow, lumbering slug. You kill it with pace, determination, and by being a lot smarter. Trouble is, David, David Moyes, he will play Goliath to a 0-0 draw, and claim it's a great result.

The David and Goliath story was about David's courage rather than Goliaths size and prowess as a soldier. Moyes doesn't have the conviction to slay a giant. Goliath had a sword and David had a slingshot. Guns and flick knives anyone?

Surprised we haven't tried to sign him! What would his age be now? 3,000 or 4,000 years old? Our scouts will be all over him.

Why would you walk away from a multi million pound contract, when, if it turns out you are useless, then you will get a big pay off when the club gives you the boot.
