There was loads of talk last season while he was away at the AFCON that his head was turned by United. When he came back he wasn't the same player as earlier on in the season. So I'd rather he goes and we get the money to invest.
Not sure what is going on with us in the market, but there feels like there's something not quite right about it all.
We spent money when we needed to get players that were ready to come in, Hayden, George, and Rohl. So I'm hoping we're just trying to line our ducks in a row before bringing in further recruits.
