If the genius recruitment plan is to sell Ndiaye for anywhere between 65-80m and spend around half of that replacing him with Rowe, I think I will find another sport to watch.
The lad is fast and then that is where the positives end.
A goal every 5 games roughly and an assist every 16. Sounds about right for us.

Ndiaye is an excellent player and is the type of player we should be keeping. The main reason his stats don't look good is because of the type of football we play, it's nothing to do with him, but we will probably sell him and spunk all the money on old washed up players.

I agree that he is a great player, Skylark. I have said it for the best part of 2 years, that if we sell him to a top 6 team and he actually has good players around him, not only will it mean he doesn't get doubled, sometimes, tripled up on, but there will actually be competent footballers who can assist him in more dangerous areas and also get on the end of his own assists, as opposed to the Chuckle Brothers.
His levels will go through the roof the minute he is in a better side.
At the same time, if Saudi are calling and we can get 70-90 million for him, it would be the right thing to do for us to improve the rest of the first 11.
I don't know how much money we have to spend. We were told that Burnley wouldn't affect the kitty, but perhaps it might be. We have spent around 60m, I believe, so we will likely have minimum 40m left, but I imagine a bit more. If we add the Ndiaye money into that, it will allow us to, at least, pursue (not sure Moyes will get them to come) , some decent players and go after our "top targets".
- We could bid aggressively for Doue at 40m.
- Get a competent LB in and replace Mykolenko, giving young Aznou minutes to come on in games and the cup run. We could easily shift Myko to a Stuttgart, PSV or Bologna for 15m.
- Buy a CB and let one of Tarks or Keane leave the club.
- Buy a decent 6 for 25-40m - Frendrup, Sano, Gueye or even the likely out of reach Hjulmand.
- Grealish.
- Another winger to replace Ndiaye - Matias Fernandez-Pardo, Yilmaz, Ouattara, Sarr.
- A decent stiker - 30-50m.
- Shift Tim 15-20m, McNeil 15m, Charlie 15m, Patterson 7m.
That works out at about 135m spend. Send Barry off as well, and it would bring it closer to the 100m mark.
Whether the Ndiaye money would be put straight into the squad or not would tell us about the ambition of TFG on the pitch.
We have the foundations to be able to build a decent side, but that would also come with getting rid of the manager in the next day-9 months to really get the most out of them.
