If you show some frustration you are moaning, if you don't agree with everything the club does you are moaning. If you don't like the drab football or tactics of Moyes you are moaning. I don't consider it's moaning, it's just supporters wishing that we would do better.
The fact is that we have signed two on loan players from last year, we have signed one up and coming player and it looks as if we will sign a good experienced player. We still have not signed a right-back and a striker, needs that we have had for years.

As a club we need to improve in many areas, scouting, recruitment, tactics, man management and game management being some. One area that we have improved in is the financial area with debt consolidation. In the future the new stadium is going to help in that regard tremendously.
If we continue to play and lose games like we did at the end of last season you can be assured that we will see a lot of moaning.

The problem is, BW, that anything to do with the club, whether it be positive or negative, is met with the same posters going over the same old ground, and it does become tiresome to read every single day. I agree, we are all entitled to have our own opinions on matters, but some really need to have a day off!

Some moan about recruitment, yet when we sign a player, they aren't good enough or too old.

Every player we are linked with, in the rags and on the bait sites, is used as a bat to beat the manager with, regardless of the rumours having any substance to them. We could sign Mbappe and there would be a section of our fan base that finds fault with it.

Stop moaning, Mike. ?

02 Aug 2026 07:29:35
I agree ?, Mike, yes, I just can't stand boring DM.

We moan because we aren't successful. We don't win things anymore - an inescapable fact. I say we keep moaning, and the louder the better, to get the silverware.
It's the squeaky cog that gets the oil!

Good post, Bm....the squeaky cog, Ta lol.

I will give you a couple days of bluepoint, how's that?

02 Aug 2026 08:31:47
Bluepotato.

02 Aug 2026 08:42:22
I don't think we moan enough. Too many people on here are happy to sit mid table with DM. I think we should all carry on moaning until the club acts like the club I used to know.

You have a right to moan, our manager is crap, our signings are crap, it's the same old story: we buy the players no other team wants, and we play the most boring football in the league, and we will finish 12th again next season. That's what Moyes brings to the table, and the funny thing is some fans think it's good.

{Ed025's Note - im going to say that we may have lighten up a bit Dino at least until we see who comes in and who goes out, i know we get frustrated but in the end there is nothing we can do about it mate, im as guilty as anyone but have decided to take a back seat at the moment and see what transpires, if in another 3 or 4 weeks things have not gone as well as expected then the gloves are off.. :)

02 Aug 2026 11:08:58
I wish I had a crystal ball that would tell me where we'll finish next season. Do you have the lottery numbers please, Dino.

02 Aug 2026 11:22:56
You don't need a crystal ball, mate. You have two eyeballs. You can clearly see yourself. Moyes is no good; he has been a manager for 30 years, and it's the same rubbish every year. So why would this season be any different.

02 Aug 2026 11:34:26
I think the main complaint is about the style of football we play, and especially at home. Nobody likes to watch their team sit back and defend the way we did last season. It was just so depressing, and, if I'm being honest, you just knew the other team would score.

The run in last season, plenty on here were giving the team pelters, and quite rightly. Maybe that has still stuck with a few, yet all will be praying that the club prove them wrong and actually kick on this season.
We can only hope.

02 Aug 2026 11:38:50
I must have dreamed those times we qualified for Europe under Moyes.

02 Aug 2026 11:54:57
The thing is, Moyes is stable. We play within our means and it is boring, but there are times when we play good football. It's just not consistent enough. We need to be fitter, faster, press more, be quicker at passing, and not so pedestrian that the teams we play against feel relaxed.

Maybe some of the older players have reached their peak. Moyes needs to do more with the younger hungry players and teach them to press and even shoot more.

{Ed025's Note - my problem is the mentality that he brings Dev, we never really go after teams and capitalize when they are vulnerable, we tend to go in front then sit back and try to hold on for dear life...its very frustrating mate..
