Just read there is a good reason AJ from Celtic has gone quiet. The RB Celtic were hoping to sign as a replacement has had to have surgery after injuring himself in pre-season. Not sure they will let the Canadian Scot go if they can't get their preference in for a replacement.

If he's out injured, why are we trying to sign him? There must be a half decent RB in the Championship who could do a job for us..

Just realised you said the replacement RB is injured Welsh. Should have read your post properly.
Still think the Celtic lad had some injury issues recently and think there are better options out there.
