I was speaking to someone about Dedic over the World Cup. He’s a very pacy and attack minded right back, said to be predominantly right footed but very strong with his weaker foot as well.
Loves to get forward, actually the sort of right back we could do with. £25m would be great value for a 23 year old, I thought he would be more as Benfica like to add a premium to their sales.
Couple of downsides, he can get caught out while in attack but has such good pace and recovery speed, not quite Djed Spence but really close, and we could benefit with a Norgaard or Garner in the 6 when he rampages forward.
Other downside is Newcastle are looking at him and Matthias Jaissle previously managed Dedic.
