This site all about options and I will nail my colours to the mast and say I do hope Chelsea price Delap out of our price range. This may well force Moyes and the recruitment team to find alternatives, which I am all for.
Plus given the choice between the two current Chelsea strikers that maybe on the move I would much prefer Nicholas Jackson. But as I say it's all about options. What say my fellow Evertonians?

I'd take Delap if the price was right. If it means we can offload Beto. I like Beto, he's just simply not good enough. Barry, I still think will develop into a tidy signing. He's been good pre season. Hopefully he carries on improving through the season.

1st choice Jackson.. Very mobile, better than Delap.. What's the big deal with Delap. When I've seen him he is really nothing special.

Anom, Delap's a worse goalscorer than Beto. Beto scored 1 every 175 mins last season, Delap every 800 mins. Even in Delap's "good" season at Ipswich he only scored every 230 mins.

Admittedly Delap had a shocker last season. Reality is Chelsea was the wrong choice. The stats you used when he was at Ipswich. He was a youngster trying to break through. Beto should be in his prime. It's all opinions, mine is, I think, Delap offers more than Beto. Doesn't mean my opinion is right, tho. Just not at the 40-50 mil quoted in the rags.
