I’ve given up hoping and wishing we sign some quality players. It’s just never going to happen. Every season we think this is the year we sign a few good ones and kick on and we never do. 1 match into the season and we still have them 2 as our strikers, 2 kids playing cm and defence isn’t very good, so I’ve decided I am not letting it get to me.
I am just going to enjoy the days out with the family because that’s what’s most important. We could have had a real go this season as the other teams are all in rebuilding mode and not very good. Who knows, maybe we will sign a striker this week, but I doubt it.

I don't see it that way, Dino. I think we have signed a few good ones already, and I think we'll sign more. Our squad, on paper at least, will be stronger than last season's.

Hope so, mate, hopefully we get a striker in this week, but either way I am going to try and enjoy this season. It is what it is and we can't do anything about it.

It is called football, a competitive game of sport. We have accidentally, or through research, signed quality players. Hackney and Norgaard, in particular, are class. B & B are indeed crap, but Delap, in my view, is no better. That is the club's problem.

I'm not sure on Delap either. I'd have him if Beto went.
I keep saying this: I'd love us to get a different type of striker. One that is rapid to be played-in over the top.

That's how I've enjoyed following us for 60 years. Enjoy each match as it comes, don't care what other teams do and the league table takes care of itself.
