Can’t get my head around this Armstrong rumour. We have in recent times been bringing in young players in Dibling, George and Hackney. So it would make no sense selling Armstrong.
I was only saying to my mate the other day, the future’s looking good because we would have O’Brien & Branthwaite at the back and Armstrong & Hackney in midfield, with George & Dibling out wide.
All good young players with bright futures.
To be honest, if one had to go I would rather it was Ndiaye than Armstrong, that’s how highly I rate the lad.

Are the Freidkins selling assets to make the books look good before they sell for a huge profit? I don't know how it all works.

Why would we even contemplate selling Armstrong? It has to be one of our neighbors spreading false rumours.

I'll buy your future side, but with one big exception. Dibbling is a total waste of space. Someone's head should roll for paying £40 mill for this lad. Not blaming the boy, didn't set the fee, but whoever sacktioned it knows burger all about football, even if you were taking a punt on a player that might have potential. Perhaps, £5mill max.
