If the manager and the club want to ignore the fact that Tarkowski is absolutely finished as a footballer, we are in for a tough season.
If he is away from his comfort zone or the 18 yard box, where he can play the hero and “put his body on the line” with blocks, he looks League 2 standard.
Never had pace but now runs in treacle. Turns like a cart horse. Ball watches. Blames everyone else around him.

You could see that goal coming a mile off. That Scott was being given so much room for the 15 mins prior to the goal.

Barry has had 2 great chances now and spaffed both. Never bought into the Preston goals or assist he had against Palace. He is not the answer.

Fully aware that these posts were coming. So short-sighted.
Absolutely mental to me that because he was in a fortunate position to score the equaliser means that all the shortcomings that came before are just forgotten about.
Says a lot about the state of this club and the outlook of the fans.
His job is not to score goals. He was abysmal today and was done numerous times. But hey ho, he scored a goal and don't get me wrong, it was a brilliant finish, but he will lose us a lot more points this season than the 1 he gained today.

What about stupud comments such I have just read 'his job is not to score goals'. Oh right, then we will chalk that one off. I don't care if it comes off any of our players left dangler, it is one for us. By the way, the best astrophysics professors in the World maintain space is flat. Pointless and toxic.

My comment about Tarkowski and "his job isn't to score goals" was in response to the other posters deflecting from him being absolutely dreadful tonight.
Oh, he scored so that excuses all the League 2 level defending he showed tonight.
Small club mentality, and that is why we are in the position we are in.
