Ok, so have calmed down a bit now and am thinking that maybe the club are just looking to the short term by bringing in these older players. Then in the next couple of years we should be a lot stronger financially and it gives us time to target other players.

So as I see it Moyes' job this season is to get us back into Europe. So if we get Richarlison, Grealish and Tete then that should help.
There is that positive enough for you?

It's about balance isn't it? We already have a much younger squad than in previous seasons. If we want to kick on, we don't want a whole team of developing players.

The squad needs a blend of experience and youth. Chelsea signed Welbeck & Henderson, which to me are decent moves.

One of my players of last season was Xhaka at Sunderland, who was well into his 30's.

I feel your pain, BMD. I don't like the fact that we are selling a 26 year old in his prime and getting players past their prime. In other words, we are not to have players in their prime, as that's for the special clubs.
So, I'm annoyed at this constant cycle of rolling on our backs to teams as pathetic as Spurs.

Did the earlier part of the window not have a lot of new recruits for the u21s? I mean, what do people want? Neurotic much?

2 developing players, one that looks like something Aznou going out on loan - prob a good thing - the other, Dibling, is a bit of a worry. If I was head coach, I would quite honestly be scratching my head.

Think BMD could be right, and maybe FBS, that is why the club are buying these youngsters in the hope that they progress over the next couple of years. Time will tell, I guess. Think all fans are neurotic mate.
