The Balogun deal is now on the verge of collapse due to paperwork issues which directly relate to the Ndiaye transfer to Man City not yet going through. A source close to the club tonight has just told me that there has been a "twist" in the "saga", and Ndiaye's move to City is vital in the Balogun deal actually going through. It has also been said that Everton need to finalise Ndiaye's exit by the time the deadline comes, but that deal has been delayed due to slow paperwork issues from our side therefore creating a significant doubt over Balogun's own move to us.
Really hope can push hard and fast now in the remaining few hours to seal both deals, as they we really cannot afford to not get Balogun through the door after all the initial excitement from the fans of it happening, and also because it would just leave us with Barry as a lone striker until January after sanctioning Beto's exit today. Fingers crossed guys.

As we get advised not to discuss the financial side of things, but even without Ndiaye, we sold Beto, Tim, and Patterson. That's pretty much 40 mil.
Are we this skint? We can't push this deal through.
Surely this club can't be this badly managed to leave us in this situation. ?

Nothing to do with us being slow with the paperwork. City are concentrating all their efforts in getting the Enzo Fernandez deal done, and Ndiaye has been delayed because of it, plus Balogun failed his medical.
