If the premiership, confirm city's guilt, and decides that city have to be relegated.
Could the football league refuse to accept them, in that event, could they have to apply to the nations league for a root back into football?

If they have points deduction enough to relegate then it is part of the system. If they are banned (my choice and owners barred) then they have to apply to rejoin the league and as the league is a relegation promotion system, the league if they approve would have to decide at what level.
League two would give them a 3 season ban. We know though none of that will happen. This is big and beyond our pay grade, big lawyers and big hitters involved, already Politicians, City and their lawyers are calling the verdict an opinion so can see where this is going.

It's just all noise coming from City and their fans right now. They can call it opinions all they like, I'm pretty sure the PL aren't trying to sanction them on an opinion alone, they seem certain that they have the evidence to prove City have bot been honest in their dealings.
What their fans seem to be forgetting is that City, like every other club in the division, all vote and agree on financial matters. They haven't been caught because of the 'red cartel' as they are seemingly blaming, they have been caught out because their owners have shown a blatant disregard to the league rules.
Kick them out of the entire football pyramid and let them start again. Bar the last 15 years or so, they have been used to languishing in the lower divisions! If we get 12 points deducted for our own financial breaches, although this was reduced on appeal, then the PL should throw the book at them for 114 charges. Let's see how corrupt those at the top really are.

I'm hearing a 60 point deduction and a transfer ban over a period not sure how long.
