always felt like he was destined to play for us one day, but assumed that day had passed by now ? would definitely have over B&B, even if only til the end of the season while the scouts *try* find someone competent.

His contract has been terminated by mutual consent… What does that tell us?
Is he not good enough?
Is he retiring?
Is he feeling he isn’t getting enough game time?

No they have just signed two new players, so he knows he won’t get another game.

Yeah wet spam signed 2 strikers who are now ahead of him in pecking order.
Hes been told he’s 3rd/4th choice and he’s on a pay as you play contract, so they agreed he will look for another club.
I don’t think he’s good enough now but on a pay as you play contract it could be worth a shout. B + B could learn a thing or two if he stayed fit ?
Seems to have a good attitude though.

He was on a pay as you play deal. I think the decision was more to minimise financial risk. So I understand the mutual consent decision.
