I personally out of the options we are going for i think callus Wilson is the wisest option till the end of the season, he knows the orem, yes he's old yes he's injury prone but on his day he's not a bad striker and he's strong on the ball, I fear this lad from Turkey will end up being another cent touson, now if a top market was to appear maybe I'd change my mind but I don't see one who is available who wants to come to us and is not 70/80million.

Raleigh Mustand and then a Ralieigh Lizzard for me! Wilson would be an upgrade I reckon.

I think it's like asking for a new bike, and getting an old battered Grifter instead - but when the bike you've been using has no chain, stiff wheels and collapses every time you ride it - it's still an improvement ?.

We were proper poor too Ed. Had to make use of the Gratten Catalogue to get my bike. Then had to get a paper round to pay it off. Had to earn your own presents in those days.

I did a paper delivery job for years in West Derby, getting up at about five every morning and also doing three hours on Sunday morning. I saved sufficient to get a new bike and my father took me to buy it. He was very old school and tried to pick the bike for me even though I had earned all of the money.
For the first time ever I made my point and got the one I wanted which was the best on show. I feel the same way now, don't want any of the castoff players agents are pushing for us to get I want the best available.
