Don’t think McNeil not going is the clubs fault. It would appear Palace tried to change the deal to a loan to buy and simply ran out of time.
Had they stayed with the straight purchase they would have been allowed a two hour extension on the time.
Turning it into a loan to buy offer cancelled out those extra two hours, regardless if Everton had agreed or not.

Being too good to be true, it obviously was not going to happen.

We improved the club this window. The highlights of George against real competition are exciting. McNeil has been a good servant, but the Club is moving forward. He will be on the bench and off this summer.
Other than missing Jack, we are in good health and ready to push for Europe. Rohl and Dibling and Aznou will feature more.
Positivity my friends, and let’s beat Fulham.

Sounds as though someone had second thoughts, maybe they watched videos of his recent games!

I heard that unfortunately McNeil didn’t want the move south which is why the deal fell through.

It’s being reported that McNeil was set to go, and that Palace failed to submit the paperwork. Good to hear he intends to use it as motivation to help us for the rest of the season.

IMO he’s a good squad player, so not to fussed that he didn’t go to palace.
{Ed025's Note - not the best Penysarn but certainly not the worst, i can live with him being part of the squad mate..

Think his Mrs was pushing for the move JB but yeah reports now saying he was set. Feel we missed a good deal there but glad the windows shut now anyway.
