Morning my fellow Evertonians. I saw an article that I hope is just click bait in the run up to the summer transfer window when journalists are trying to fill column inches staying that Everton are willing to listen to offers for Charly Alcaraz.
I believe personally he still has a lot to offer this club and unless we are upgrading massively we should hang on to him and play him. Just my opinion, of course; you may think differently. I would love to know your thoughts.

He's had some injury issues, evidently, and Moyes does not pick him when fit, so it would probably be best for him and the club if we sold him at a reasonable price.
If we get into Europe, however, we are going to need a bigger squad of players.
Moyes will be forced into using more players and rotating, which he has not shown a lot of talent to do recently. The issue will be, can we recruit someone better than Charly for a similar price? If not, we should keep him, and if so, play him more.

Come the summer, plenty of changes will be made in our team, I think Alcaraz will be let go.

Big mistake to make too many changes, GB. It is not the answer. It then takes seasons to get everyone up to speed. We need the obvious: a center-forward, left and right back, and make a decision on Grealish.
Get Dibling and Aznou more involved, possibly keep George and Rohl, and add two or three from the U21's, and we will have done well. Of course, if we lose one of our good players, the scenario changes.

I think there will be few to move on, Mike. Two strikers to start with would do nicely, then a winger and maybe a couple at the back. Either way, we are a team on the up, and I'm very happy with this season. Any that do come in will be ether than what we have, mate.

There won't be plenty of changes. Plenty of changes are not needed. A striker in (Barry out) , RB, Moyes thinks he can get a player out of Dibling, and a replacement for Alcaraz (if rumours true) .
