Exactly, did not see any point whatsoever in taking either Henderson or Stones. Plenty of experience in the squad without these two.

Taking Henderson is an entirely terrible decision. He's turned a 25 man squad into a 24 man without kicking a ball. Just replacing him with Garner means he gains 3 positions covered instead of 0. I cannot fathom the decision. If he's needed for moral, then what the hell are the coaches doing?
When England get knocked out, this will be topical for sure.

If it's his experience around the team he likes, then take him as a member of the staff. I would have taken Garner all day long.
