I wouldn't particularly care if he did tbh. Nothing against him, but there are much better CB's out there and his sample size for us a CB is small, even though our results have been good when he has played there.

Can see Myko being back up CB and getting in a new LB and RB. Delap will replace Beto.

Saw that. Think this could be a result of Tarks getting captain. Wouldn't surprise me if O'Brien thinks he's either gonna play rb or not at all. I partly understand Tarks being made captain, but this may be the result of it, which is wrong for our future, I reckon.

Dreadful if this happens. Making Tarks captain and playing him ahead of O'Brien despite poor performance after poor performance last season is the classic 'experienced head' tripe you only see from the likes of Moyes and Dyche.
Don't blame Job if he wants to go. In the prime of his career, and he'll know he's a better centre back than the one who is now nailed on to play in front of him, so what's the point in staying.
Need to ride this season out and then appoint a modern (last 20 years) manager. The Moyes/Dyche mentality of "old heads", "wise heads", "experienced pro", "Premier League ready", "Premier League fit" is a dead duck.

If we're serious about getting to the next level then I've no problems waving bye-bye to O'Brien. He's average at CB at best, no other top half PL would want him. His positioning and reactions aren't up to scratch, we could do with better.
