I have a strong feeling that we see Nidaye go to City before the window is out.
They have let Marmoush and Savinho leave and Doku is injured. Foden and Cherki aren't wingers and we are still after Grealish.
I can see Ndiaye going for a load of cash and Grealish coming in as part of the deal.
Will that then give us the money to secure Doue as a RB? Johnson, George, Dibling and Grealish as the winger options. I think we would need another with a bit more experience and pace.

Doku is due to be back in two to three weeks from what I understand, and they are signing that 22 year old Brazilian winger Allan to replace Savio or whatever he's calling himself this week.
They are also targeting Gakpo, but not sure they will persuade that lot into a sale.
And though Cherki are both viewed primarily as attacking midfielders, they do also play on both wings, but prefer to be the number 10.
I think the Doue situation is our recruitment team looking to try and get a lower price agreed, which could blow up in our faces, especially with PSG showing an interest now.
I think, or maybe more a hope, that we keep Ndiaye, take Grealish on loan.
Switching attention to Baku or Ben White might be a smarter move.
Bring in Bard and loan out Aznou before we destroy his development.
Sell Beto and sign Dju would be a good upgrade as well.

That totally works for me, Southern Toffee. I would be getting the Bunting out.

Tickled me about Savio ST!
I think we might be trying to drive the price down on Doue because we don't have the money to get him. If we make a sale, I think we will see us bid what Strasbourg want, and tbf, in this current market and the types of fees we are seeing, I would say he is worth it.
Bard and Doue would take us up so many levels, and we would see the knock on effect that adding them to the side would have on the players already out on the pitch for us.
Dju coming in would be the icing on the cake.

Wouldn't be surprised if we are attempting loan to buy deals with some of them. We know the finances should improve next summer because of the new stadium, so we can afford it then.

Doesn't sound as though Moyes is optimistic about new signings, but what's new. If we don't get a few more in, then this recruitment team have failed to identify players that we can realistically get. I could identify a Ferrari, but doesn't mean I could get one.

I think Moyes is playing the game to put pressure on the recruitment team.
Diouf is going for £40m, so it's kind of where the market is.
It is a tough year for us, as the new finances aren't quite there yet this year, so loans we obligations is a way round it, as would be low fees with big add-ons that are easily achieved, just to stretch the budget as we need the additions now.
