Sorry for the bad news guys - but one of my contacts has just informed me by text that it’s now likely that Ndiaye will be sold to Man City before the end of the transfer window. The player has apparently known about this possibility for some time, hence why he turned down the chance to move to the Saudi League earlier in the Summer.
Everton now expecting a last minute frenzy of transfer activity!

Well his Dad did say he wished to stay in the Premier League. I would suggest Elvis, if your contacts are in such a position as to have knowledge for certain of such happenings, they and you could make a fortune at the bookies.

That's a shame, Elvis. We need to have players lined up to announce the same day we sell him. Otherwise, say no. He has three years left and they can buy him next summer.

Still, everyone and their mate keeps saying he's leaving, so as Br says, hold firm and get as much money as possible for him.
And don't include any of their players. If we do want Grealish then do that as a separate deal, the lad has one year left on his contract and wants to leave. So 10m or move on.

It will have to be a massive price. They sold Savinho for £75m, rising to £85m. If they've sanctioned that and want Ndiaye presumably it's because they think he is an upgrade so there needs to be a good upgrade on the price too.

If he does, I suspect it will be a simple case of they sign Ndiaye and we take Grealish.
Love watching him play, but £80m, given his lack of end product over the last 12 months, is good money - anything less though, and it's a joke considering his length of contract and the money paid for others this window.

So they get Ndiaye, who was on 45k a week and is at a peak age, and we get Grealish who is on 200k+ and is past his peak.
Great bit of business that, given that it puts a lot of burden on the wage bill, which may limit who or how many we can bring in.
Do we go for one or two with real quality but higher wages, or three or four average players on lower wages?
It was nice having Jack, but realistically, we need someone like Yidiz, a very good player who wouldn't crash the wage bill, giving us more scope to bring in quality players.

Obviously we don't want to see Ndiaye go, but, as people have said, if he doesn't want to be here, then that's the end of that.
I would be pushing up from 80 to 100 million for him, though, based on Deirdre/Dave, I mean Savio's price of 75 for a reserve.
I just hope Everton don't let him go on deadline day and then say it's too late to reinvest any of that money.

I agree that an unsettled player isn't great Ed but he has three years left and we have to have the backbone to walk away if they don't meet our valuation. I'd hope for £80m rising to £90m or something like that. Let's hope they don't cave and let him go for £50m or something daft like that.
You'd hope he'd be professional if he stays but you never know in this climate. Someone from the club will surely sit down with him and explain that we will sell if they meet the valuation otherwise they can try again next summer. If he wants out, he wants out - if he downs tools, it could ruin his best years playing as clubs are less likely to come in for him.
We risk selling him this late in the window and not getting in replacements. I have little faith our recruitment team could organise a p' up in a brewery. They are as useful as a one legged man in an arse kicking competition

Any player that wants to leave, whether it be Jake or Ndiaye, should be shown the door asap as long as we get a fee that we are happy with.

Moyes doesn't want Ndiaye to go, nor do any of us fans, but he is holding out only for a move to one of the big 4 if a deal and price can be agreed between the 2 clubs.
