I knows different profiles but also a slight over lap in play with City in for Chelseas Enzo Fernandez for what has to be eye watering fee as CFC paid over 100m last summer. Let's hope this happens and they decide no to Ndiaye. We really must keep him.

I don't want this player sold so close to the deadline, or at any other point over the next few years, come to it. We must fight to keep him if we are to get those euro places or domestic silverware.
He's unique and worth far more than the £80m being quoted, given what we've seen this summer window. Keep him and move on up. Let's hope he's not the kind to push this to a degree that forces our hand.

I agree, but apparently he has turned down a few contract extensions already. I don't know what terms he has been offered. I was so surprised that he was only on 45k per week, which gives us loads of room for leverage.
Why not just make him one of the highest paid players at the club, and put a stop to it all, and tell other interested suitors to f*** off.

David Moyes has said he's not in a rush to sell our best players, I think it's media hype personally, he isn't playing like a player with anything hanging over him, seems happy as Larry!
