With Carrick's departure suspended until at least after the weekend, do you think we could nip in and get Eddie Howes signature to replace Moyes by Friday? Oh sorry this is Everton and we don't act as fast.

I would love to get rid of Moyes asap, but I have a few Newcastle supporting mates, and the criticisms they had of him are pretty similar to ours of Moyes. I think he's better, for sure, but suspect we'd find ourselves pretty frustrated within a year or so.
Plus, our owners won't do anything until we're sold.

I have 2 friends who have worked under him, one at Bournemouth and one at Newcastle. Both of them said what an arrogant helmet he is. By all accounts (from the lad at Newcastle) those sentiments were widespread amongst most of the staff that worked there whilst he was the Boss.
As Alex said, I have seen plenty of Barcodes slate him too.

I'd take a punt on Davide Ancelotti. By all accounts he's very fluid in his tactics and prepared to try different things.
