Think we are already down GB.

I’m just hoping we can do a Villa, Newcastle, Bournemouth etc and rebuild and come back up.

If we can get the new stadium through on time, we should hopefully improve our finances and come back stronger.

I’m just fearful we do another Portsmouth/ Sunderland and we are gone for a much longer time….

Don't think it's that simple, lose we're probably down for sure (tho I think we're going anyhow) but a win doesn't save us.!

People refer to last season and how we almost went down. This year for me there is a major difference, the biggest difference I feel and the number one reason we didn't go down last season was due to the supporters.

Last season in my opinion the number one reason we stayed up was due to the supporters. Intimidating visitors to Goodison. Due to the c*ap coming from the owners this year and the supporters being fed up it's not happening this year.

Supporters should not have to do it. Last year we should have went down. I honestly feel only for the supporters we would have. It's not there this year. I fear the worst. Now is the first time I have.

Fat lady hasn't sang yet but I'm a lot more worried than last year. Monday night we have a massive say in our future if not all the say.

{Ed025's Note - she may not be singing yet NBTB but she is definitely clearing her throat mate..

Sorry GB but how will Monday be awesome if we lose?

I love your optimism, but think you’ve got very blue tinted glasses on if you think a win on Monday keeps us up.

Of course I have Blue tinted glasses mate I won’t give up where there is hope, we have beaten them before and we can do it again.

{Ed025's Note - i actually love your optimism GB, myself i think we will go down mate but it is what it is..

What meds are you on GB? I could really do with some. Last season i always believed we would survive but this year i don't, all hope, belief and optimism has been beaten out of me and i am now 99% certain we are done. I truly hope I'm wrong but just can't see where the wins are coming from.

Yep in that same boat No Problem. This a completely different feeling to last year, a total disconnect, a complete and utter shambles on and off the pitch. We are going down and worse still we are going down without a fight which will be trumped by moshiri, Bill and co still pulling the strings next season which will be the nightmare us fans don't need or want and will Ultimately be me done with Everton Football Club until they are out the door for good, I refuse to line their pockets anymore! Will do my bit until its mathematically impossible.

{Ed025's Note - hopefully mocker relegation will be the catalyst this club needs, let moshiri, bill and their cohorts piss off and sell the club to someone with pride, passion and a plan for the future mate, thats the only good that can come out of this mess..

Thats all we want. Some passion, some vision some connection. Way I've felt since Thursday isn't right Ed and didn't feel this down and narky last season as believed was hope and felt the connection with we in this together. Woke up with a nark on, wife gone out lol and dogs in mood with me now as normally take them good walk. So its time to get me head outta me ass, glad we ain't playing today. going to use that time for decent walk then feet up change of sport and enjoy snooker.

Look at things this way: if we do not get relegated, there’s more chance we have Moshiri, Bill and their mates still in charge….

{Ed025's Note - very true mate..

Fans were a factor but amazed nobody has pointed out the true reason we stayed up last year. We had 2 players who could score. 1 was still a sick note but was vital in the last games and the other was the best player we've had since the 80s but doesn't get much love and seems to have been deleted from history in this thread. A great home atmosphere helps but the players win and lose these games. We still have the sick note hmmmm.

Loved Richy FBS, but give me the Everton Lukaku all day over him …. Get your sentiment though it’s just hits different this season as a lot of people are exhausted with it all and the teams around us seem to be playing more positive football and risking it in games for the 3 points rather than keeping it tight and trying to get a set piece goal.

Even if we somehow beat Leicester, which I don’t think we will, we still have 4 hard games after that, City, Brighton, Bournemouth and Wolves. All miles better than us.

So I don’t think it’s as simple as beat Leicester and we stay up, we might both go down.

Yeah as a striker Lukaku all day long was a beast for us and (cliche) has never been replaced. Rikki is a winger or a 10. He plays the false 9 for Brazil and played up top for us so people think he's a 9. No he's not, definitely not but we were desperate and he plugged a hole for a few seasons.
