I think Moyes would be a decent choice, not my favourite but we do need somebody to steady the ship and he would certainly do that and perhaps with funds available he could take us to champions league etc. Also can you imagine Lukako letting mouth go if Moyes was in charge.

I doubt Moyes could attract top name players, and his bigger signings were his worse signings.

Ron

Having DM back is imo a knee jerk reaction to RM's defensive debacle and lack of '90 min' match preperation.

There so far, couldn't be a better time to re group and re assess what we have and the potential with new arrivals in the summer to move forward to a new level.
Martinez meant free fall and Moyes meant treading water so it's got to be onwards and UPWARDS.

Blue 247 I see what your saying bro but I wouldn't exactly say moyes was treading water "punching above his wait" more like it for me I hated what he done to us in the end but if he were to be given the gig like I said before I will be right behind him mate I would get behind me bean if he was fighting for the royal blue cause.

''I would get behind mr bean if he was fighting for the royal blue cause. ''

Me too mate!

I just hope DM doesn't return, 'punching above our weight' well maybe? punching above his weight at Old Trafford? yes for sure!
Thing is, I don't see him as the iconic flag bearer we
need in this new 'exiting' era we can all see developing .

{Ed025's Note - me neither 247..

I think David Moyes would be a decent choice if we don't get koeman or emery. Ok I was upset with his comments and derogatory offers for Baines and Fellaini, but I do believe he would improve our defence and with the increased money available would take us to the next level. I don't think he was that far away when he was with us. Perhaps we should give another go.

No chance, Moyes is a backwards step. This is our chance to push on. Bored of saying it, Moyes done well for us and won't knock him for it but it was best for both parties when he left. He couldn't take us to the next level, his big money signing on the whole were woeful and we played boring football. If we can't get emery or koeman then either pellegrini or take a chance on de boer but to the love of all that is ginger, not MOYES.

I don't think we have ever had a manager that has been so negative about our club. We can't do this and we haven't got that.

Now he's got the cheek to say if we go to him with something exciting he might be interested! He should be on his hands and knees begging to save him from obscurity. His ego beggars belief.

Moyes had cash at Utd and didn't exactly set the place on fire did he? We need a big name to attract big name players and keep our unsettled ones onside at least for this coming season at least.
