Liverpool fan, I come in peace, ed0025 you and your fellow blue noses should wake up in the morning to the news that Martinez has been sacked, its obvious that no one is playing for him and his time is up, with the squad you have you should be right up there with west ham at least, in a season when all the big teams have been inconsistent you had a great chance to qualify for Europe. Take it from one who knows when your manager's excuses get more bizzare by the game you know the manager has ran out ideas, next will come the begging for more time when he has had enough, but the main point for me if I was your new owner would be, could I trust this man to spend my money wisely and we all know the answer to that, personally I would have fired him straight after the derby, Leighton baines got it spot on with his summary, I told ed 0025 that a new owner should come with a new manager and I stand by that, you deserve better than what you are getting, your latest display was a disgrace to the shirt and the fans.

{Ed025's Note - the similarity between martinez and rodgers is there for all to see kenny, the weird press conferences, the lack of motivation and the lack of a plan B, but its the stubbornness that gets me mate and unless the board act soon it could get really ugly..

Nice post Kenny lad, and spot on too!

My missus is not the best at judging footy as she is indifferent most of the time but even she makes comments like ''they don't respect him and you can tell by the way they look at him when he speaks to them''

Liverpool fan here I come in peace. I hope the takeover goes well for you and you get the owners your great club deserves.2 things I hope happens for you. 1) you get the stadium you need and deserve. 2) the owners look to give you the transfer budget to make you stronger each year, no more selling your best players. also they don't put up with anymore of Martinez incompetence, the man is making Brendan Rodgers look like a genius. yes your form has improved and you are still in the f. a cup but with the squad you have you should be chasing a European place. he may well find himself working in a more ruthless environment once the owners take over as we have seen at other clubs. thanks for reading.

Good post and yes very respectful. I'm not saying this in a bitter way but I am worried about our best players being sold and the reason I say it is because since Liverpool have brought American owners in that is exactly what they have done.

{Ed025's Note - its the buying of players that worries me kingy, liverpool have been charged over the odds for players since their takeover, i dont wish to score points here but players like sakho, lovren, lallana, henderson, allen, klyne and many others have cost on average about £20m a piece, they are decent enough players but because of them having rich owners clubs think they can rip them off..

Got to admit I'm a little worried when you look at our club be it a fan or a neutral
You think proper club looks after it's fans does a hell of a lot for the local community if this takeover goes through I hope the new fellas keep this up all I want the new owners to know is what we expect of them and they must realise they are mearly custodions of our club we as fans own them mentally and emotionally they must know we will not put up with the crap the reds are getting threw at them at the minute as much as we want to grow the club world wide we also want to keep maybe enhance our locality

Really hope they don't turn out to be the new hick and Gillette. That was a close shave for reds :')

Fair point eds I think that they get held to ransom so often because they always say yes and pay over the odds you won't see clubs playing those games with the likes of levy for example because they know they won't get anywhere. Personally I don't think we need to much investment in the team is rather concentrate whatever funds on a solution to the stadium.
