Great set of results these last few games but I can't help thinking that at times our defending in the area is quite chaotic, just hoping somebody can but a boot through it. Soonner or later we won't ride our luck and lose to 4 or 5 when it goes wrong.

I disagree I think we have looked decent enough in defense recently. Saturday first half we weren't good though. But I think the whole team looked shattered after the Derby. Second half I thought we were a lot more resilient. Silly goal to give away, lack of communication but we move on.

We have had plenty of teams riding their luck through our poor finishing and poor officials etc. . not to mention over doing the defensive stuff with SD.
The season usually ends up with a bit of both, good and bad luck, IMO.

Things going wrong and not riding our luck was at the start of the season ricktee
It was also known as Dyche ball where we hoped things would change and not try to make them change.

Is our defence that bad already under Moyes? It’s not out of the realms of possibility that all teams get a thumping anytime soon even with a well drilled back line. These things just happen.
At the moment we are winning games and long may that continue. If we lost by 4 or 5 against united then went on to win another cluster of games? I’ll take it.
Fact is this, we are 3 wins and 1 draw from the 40 points needed to start next season in the finest club stadium in the modern game. Something our ancestral fellow blues have tasted and soon to be our turn.
We’re so close!

Close toffee ace? Leicester and Ipswich have 17 points in 20 odd games are they going to double that in less games? I doubt it, 30 should be fine 35 to be sure.
