Everton's poor bookkeeping, had no impact on Burnley s relegation, the notion that they have any sought of claim against Everton is souer grapes, from desperate chancers, trying to hide from the fact that they were just crap, that's the reason that they ended up being relegated.
The members of the disciplinary panel, a that suggest that they, may have a claim, are the one's who set this hair running, totally failing to recognise that any claim, however spiritous, would be against the premier League for their handling .

I suspect that Burnley will be successful in their claim against us. We've gone out there and got top spec lawyers to defend us with the main problem being that we have admitted to our crime/ breach. Therefore, I believe it is about damage limitation and a settlement out of court.
It won't get to court at all and probably a settlement of around 20 to 40m unless Burnley are promoted in which they may drop it. The reason it won't go to court is that you are taking a very big financial chance by taking it there. Burnley are after money not in losing it.
However, we may think about going for trial as the implications are bigger for us. If we pay out a settlement then others will take their chance and 4 or 5 settlements ends up being over 100m.
Whoever thought admitting to this was a good idea is absolutely stupid in every sense of the word and could have massive implications financially. It may also impact this summer and many years to come. Saying we did it means Burnley don't have to prove we did it. If we denied it, they would still need to prove the crime/ breach and we could refer to the EPL's incompetence and recent failed cases against Man City. We don't have a leg to stand on.

The can of worms this will open if a successful claim is made would have dire consequences for the Premier League.

If we agree to settle out of court what's to stop other clubs putting a claim in? Utter nonsense, we have been punished already. If Burnley want to sue anyone then it should be the Premiership, they set the penalty.

Considering the only sites that are pushing this story are the biggest load of crap click baiters and none of the regular or (if such a thing) respected agents haven't said a word, i'd ignore it. It's a classic quiet moment with the international break when utter tripe click baits headlines are the order. It's got no legs otherwise this would have all been part of last year's PSR point deductions and that was the time to hit us with the momentum. We've paid our dues and that's that. Ridiculous.

For what it's worth, the gang on Talksport seemed pretty confident that Burnley have a case and it will liklely lead to a settlemeny to avoid a court hearing. Just when we thought we might have a transfer budget ay.

What breach have Everton admitted to? Is it something we have not been punished for?

Highly unlikely it’ll get anywhere.
There is no way the premier league will want clubs suing each other as that reflects badly on their governance.
If it does go ahead then will allow other clubs to sue each other which again makes a mockery of the premier league.
In particular - West Ham played Tevez who was ineligible to play and he scored goals keeping them up at the expense of Sheffield Utd - if clubs are now allowed to sue each other can see that being a case being brought forward.
Forest were also guilty of breaches and punished - will they be sued by other teams?
If you play in a league you should be governed by them and they should be the ones responsible for punishments etc.
We were found guilty by the premier league and were punished that should be the end of it.
If Burnley not happy with how the premier league dealt with it then take it up with the premier league and sue them, or alternatively don’t play in their league if not happy with how they govern it.

The question we all could do with knowing the answer to is: does it have any legs? Otherwise it’s a storm in a tea cup and Doris the tea lady won’t be happy with that.

Moshiri admitted to knowingly over spending on players. We should have adopted the ‘no comment’ rule as everyone else does.

Let's hope Burnley get pipped to promotion by Leeds Sheffield United and Coventry don't need teams in this league that can't admit that they weren't up for it at this level my advice to Burnley would be try harder next time keep your chin up.
