It was a bad challenge RD when you look back at it but at the time I thought it was a cracking, full blooded tackle. But maybe a bit too full blooded. He hasn't gone out to injure the player but I think tarks is more of a 1970s-1980s type centre half, in the fact he'll take no prisoners. Still don't deserve death threats. Liverpool players have given their fair share of terrible challenges on everton players (van dijks lunging, studs up challenge on doucoure being one, but there's still no place in football for those Internet idiots.

They have probably lost respect for us over some past abuse bluemike. It is appalling, maybe my memory is failing me but in the days before this modern exposure to instant scrutiny we didn't have such abuse. Scraps were always around even in my era the teenage 60's.
