Two interesting statistics regarding the club
1. Only Wolves ( 10 goals ) have scored less than Everton so far this
season. Embarrassing that is for this club.
2. Everton are the only club where substitutions have failed to change
the game and are bottom of this league table. I can’t remember
where i saw this published. Obviously the quality and quantity of
players available plus managers tactics come into play here.
Reported interest in Garner means the club cannot afford to loose him and need to get contract sorted ASAP.

1-Not surprised by that.
2-Change like for like what do you expect to happen.
Garner has been decent but he doesn't create or score many goals. He's a grafter at best.
{Ed025's Note - i think Garner has been very good Brass..

Garner is a very good footballer who also happens to work his socks off. He and Iroegbunam will have to be on it for the Forest game. Both Garner and Iroegbunam were our best, followed by Dibling against Burnley.

Yep he’s good and underrated by a few.

I’ll say a couple of things about Garner:
1) He has been a rock for us this season and has played well wherever he has been asked to. He actually reminds me of Phil Neville in terms of work-rate and endeavour.
2) The second point is his age. I had a few questions about him when he first started playing for us, but at 24, he’s just coming into his prime years and it does remind me that that we can often (myself included) jump on younger players, who are still developing and haven’t fully evolved fully yet.

Does anyone think the timing of rumours other clubs want him with his contract running down are a little suspicious? Could it be his agent trying to push for bigger and better deal sooner? It’s all a little fishy to me.

Benny I reached my peak (good standard football) at age 23 ???.

Don’t think he’s going anywhere he loves Everton.
