Hey BlueNose, what’s your view on Chelsea getting only a slap on the wrist instead of being treated the same as we were with that massive points deduction? Why such a huge discrepancy, mate? Your view would be greatly appreciated.

When the payments were added to Chelsea's accounts, they were not in excess of the £105m, three-season spending limit. If they had been, then the prospect of a points deduction would have been real. The Blues had already been fined 10m euros (£8.6m) by UEFA over the same offences.

Evening GB. Tbh, mate, I have moved on from all that PSR crap once we survived ours and don't pay much attention to it.

I can't claim to understand all the intricacies of how it all works, and there are far more knowledgeable people to explain it than me, bud.

What I will say though, mate, is that it is to be expected. Whilst we may get called paranoid for thinking that we are treated differently to other clubs, I think it is absolutely true.

I am just glad that TFG came in and steadied the finances, tidied up the interest payments and made us much better from a commercial perspective.

Hopefully we can now look forward and build an exciting team with a bit more money at our disposal. We as fans sure do deserve it, mate.

Sorry, I just realised I answered a question that wasn't for the Joe Public. Apologies.

No need for the apology, Dino1. Share the knowledge, mate.

I don't think it's us in this instance that have the right to feel aggrieved.

Remember, the points deduction Luton got for what was, in comparison to Chelsea, a much smaller agent related financial issue.

I believe that it did have relevance to the 105M three year over-spending limit. They undoubtedly gained an advantage by their illegal actions, versus other teams, in getting better players than they might otherwise have got, which gave them an advantage in winning trophies and position in the league, which led to more revenue.

So, it's ridiculous to say that it had no impact on the three year spending limit.

BBC had a good article with one of the ex-Chelsea executives saying it was too lenient.

There's a quote doing the rounds that the Prem used on us, about a fine being pointless for a multi-millionaire owner of Everton, so a points deduction was appropriate. We must conclude Chelsea are broke.
